Terms & Conditions for Booking Online with Tattoo Artist Jacqueline May
Introduction
This document outlines the terms and conditions for booking tattoo appointments online with Tattoo Artist Jacqueline May, based in Canada.
By booking an appointment with Jacqueline May, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
Booking Process
Clients must use the designated online booking platform or contact Jacqueline May through approved communication channels to request an appointment.
All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by Jacqueline May.
Age Requirement
Clients must be at least 18 years old to book a tattoo appointment.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide appropriate identification and consent forms as required by local laws.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a tattoo appointment.
All deposits are non-refundable and this also applies if -
you do not appear for a tattoo appointment
you cancel or reschedule an appointment without giving at least 72 hours notice
you reschedule 2 or more times for any sessions of the same tattoo, regardless of notice
you fail to reschedule a new appointment within 30 days of a canceled appointment
The deposit amount will be communicated to the client during the booking process.
Payment for the tattoo service can be made in full at the time of booking or on the day of the appointment, as agreed upon with Jacqueline May.
Accepted payment methods will be specified on the online booking platform or as communicated by Jacqueline May.
Rescheduling and Cancellation
Clients may reschedule their appointment within 72 hours of the appointments date subject to availability and must provide reasonable notice to Jacqueline May.
Any changes to the appointment date or time may be subject to additional fees.
In the event of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
Design and Artwork
The client and Jacqueline May will collaborate to create the desired tattoo design.
If the design is a custom piece you will receive the design a few days prior to your appointment.
You are allowed 3 changes to the design within reason. Additionally, if there are more than 3 changes or adjustments made to the drawing will require a new drawing fee so that I am fairly compensated for my drawing time (drawing fees will be determined based on the concept).
A complete change of concept will require a new deposit or a change or design from custom to flash will incur a $100 drawing fee.
Jacqueline May reserves the right to refuse designs that are offensive, inappropriate, or against her artistic principles.
Health and Safety
Clients must disclose any health conditions, allergies, or medical concerns that may affect the tattooing process.
Jacqueline May reserves the right to refuse service if there are health or safety concerns.
Aftercare Instructions
Clients will receive aftercare instructions for proper tattoo healing.
I offer free touch-ups on tattoos if needed and if correct aftercare instructions have been followed
To qualify, your touch-up must be booked within 3 months of your original tattoo booking. If booked outside this time frame you must pay for your touch-up.
Following aftercare guidelines is the client's responsibility, and Jacqueline May is not liable for any complications resulting from non-compliance.
Liability
Clients understand and accept the risks associated with getting a tattoo.
Jacqueline May is not liable for any damages, injuries, or allergic reactions resulting from the tattooing process or aftercare.
Intellectual Property
The final tattoo design remains the intellectual property of Jacqueline May, subject to any copyright laws.
Confidentiality
All client information and tattoo details will be kept confidential unless explicit consent is given for promotional purposes.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Canadian laws and regulations.
Amendments
Jacqueline May reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
Clients will be informed of any changes through the website or other communication channels.
Legal Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the province or territory in which Jacqueline May operates her business.
